Seeing double

Microsoft researchers in India have been experimenting with splitting a screen in two so that two people could share a computer simultaneously.

We had a similar idea a few years ago, as evidenced by this work of art from my Ndiyo notebook:

It makes greater sense now, with the growing popularity of wide-screen monitors.

    Some people have been experimenting with “pair programming”, another way that “that two people could share a computer”.

    Looks like a good idea especially considering the need to spread out technology use particularly in areas inhabited by people whose resource levels are low. It is good that the idea has been mooted from a developing country setting. Keep the innovative ideas going…
